Montreal, sometimes called the “Paris of the New World”,
is the world’s second-largest French-speaking city. Montréal is a fascinating crossroads of different cultures
where you will find museums, cathedrals and the Historic Buildings of “Vieux -
Montréal”; a botanical garden, the Olympic Park and beautiful “Mont Royal”; outdoor cafés and
excellent restaurants; exciting street life and festivals of all
kinds; plus great shopping, and an underground city. Our Hotel is Downtown,
on famous “St. Catherine Street” right in the middle of all the action, only one block from the Restaurants, Night Clubs and
Bars of the “Latin Quarter.” Our Local Tour Guide will take us by bus to see the most famous and interesting sights in Montréal,
including “Notre Dame Basilica” where Celine Dion was married. |

The
highlight of our tour is a Traditional Québécois Feast at a Rustic Sugar
Shack. Here, you’ll discover
the beauty of a natural maple grove and enjoy the hospitality of the French Canadian Pioneer Era, a place
where they recreate the Pioneer experience through traditional architecture and techniques for producing
Maple Syrup. After a delicious homemade dinner, we will learn how to sing and dance to French Canadian
Folk Music, and you will get to taste “Caribou,” a special drink of the
Pioneers. |
