The Highlight of our Boston Adventure is the Optional Whale Watch Cruise to the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary; the most famous whale watching destination on the Eastern Coast of North America. Renowned for its heavy concentration of Humpback, Finback and Minke Whales, Stellwagen Bank is the perfect location to see and learn about the whales, as they feast & frolic in their natural habitat. Rich in living resources, this feeding area of the great whales continues to make Stellwagen Bank one of the most outstanding areas in the world for quality whale watching. This is a once in a lifetime experience, and one of our most popular student trips. Each whale watch cruise is guided and narrated by a naturalist from the "Whale Center of New England", who will provide commentary for you while you cruise in total comfort on a modern, high speed catamaran, offering three outside decks for first-class viewing. Inside, is a climate-controlled cabin with tables and airline-style captain seating. There is also a galley to purchase light fare, snacks and beverages.
After your whale watch cruise, there will be time for a visit to Harvard and MIT, before heading back to New York City. Anyone wishing to skip the Optional Whale Watch Tour, will have the opportunity to visit the USS Constitution, and will have extra time to visit Harvard and MIT. |
